Gustav Skoog
Gustav is an associate consultant with wide covering experience in sustainability reporting according to CSRD standards, climate and human rights risk analysis in the supply chain, as well as ESG data strategy and collection, supporting customers in both regulatory compliance and development of sustainability strategy and goals. Having grown up abroad, Gustav uses his international outlook and perspective to easily and comfortably interact with different stakeholders.
Gustav has experience working with clients in a broad catalogue of industries and sectors, including but not limited to manufacturing & assembly, real estate, telecom & IT, health care, retail, construction, infrastructure and transport. Applying his deep knowledge of environmental topics, Gustav has helped clients identify their material impacts and risks across the entire supply chain and in their own operations, including potential human rights consequences on workers and communities. With a background in civil engineering, Gustav has also supported clients with streamlining their data collection efforts in line with CSRD, while also offering insights about data-gaps and improvements. In addition, Gustav has also worked on EU Taxonomy screenings as well as ESRS gap assessments.
Previously, Gustav worked in the energy sector with heat pump technology in commercial buildings, as well with sustainable packaging, waste and circularity. In addition, he has conducted research at Stockholms University where he built upon his master thesis looking at global conflict and cooperation arising from water availability. Gustav holds a civil engineering degree from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, with a master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure.
