Ethos has become a member in Cradlenet, the leading accelerator for Sweden´s transition to a circular economy.

Today Ethos joined forces with Cradlenet as part of its strategy to continue to be Scandinavia’s leading source on the latest intelligence and best practices for sustainable business.

Cradlenet is Sweden’s premier platform for companies and policymakers to exchange knowledge and network on the circular economy. It’s a nonprofit that supports companies and organisations with the transition to a circular economy, a model of production and consumption which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing, and recycling existing materials and products for as long as possible.

“The circular economy is a prerequisite for a sustainable future,” says Malin Lindfors Speace, CEO of Ethos. “Cradlenet is the best platform of its kind in Sweden. We’re happy to become members and are looking forward to sharing knowledge and experiences on consuming within planetary boundaries.”

Since a circular economy aims to tackle global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution by emphasizing design-based implementation of circulating products and materials and the regeneration of nature, membership in Cradlenet will deepen the knowledge and partnerships available to Ethos to offer clients first class analysis of material flows, training courses to increase their competence in the circular economy, and conducting pilot projects.
