Sustainability Associate

About the role
You will become a key player in one of our two specialized teams: Corporate Sustainability or Sustainable Finance. Your primary goal is to provide strategic support to clients in navigating and overcoming sustainability challenges. Our work covers a broad range of topics, including strategy formulation, target setting, ESG data analysis, sustainable finance, and due diligence in M&A projects. Working closely with leading listed companies, you will play a crucial role in creating lasting improvements to their sustainability performance and showcasing the link between sustainability and long-term business success.

Responsibilities  
Strategic Problem Solving: Structure and address complex sustainability challenges.
Data Mastery: Collect, verify, and interpret sustainability data.
Client Engagement: Build trust-based relationships with clients, guiding and advising them on their sustainability journey
Effective Communication: Articulate findings in a structured manner to diverse audiences, including senior business leaders.

Experience
Successful applicants to the Sustainability Associate role will have 1-3 years of proven experience in corporate sustainability or management consultancy as well as in-depth understanding of sustainability best practices, standards, frameworks, and methodologies, such as ESRS, LCA, and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.

Profile     
Educational Background: University degree in finance, economics, environmental science, engineering, law, human rights, or a related field.·       Analytical: Strong problem-solving skills and a keen analytical mindset.·      
Drive: Demonstrate drive and passion for having a meaningful impact. Proactivity is key.·      
Strategic:  Client-oriented mindset with a commitment to understanding their business objectives and sustainability goals.
Collaborative Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic teams and deliver on deadlines. Enjoy learning and sharing insights and best practices.
Language Skills: Fluent in both Swedish and English.

Trainee

For the Sustainability Trainee role relevant professional experience and knowledge of sustainability best practices, standards, frameworks, and methodologies is meriting but not a requirement.
