A warm welcome to the first Sustainable Finance Network Breakfast after the summer on the topic: How to increase the engagement with board and management on sustainability matters?
As budget discussions and annual planning begin to take shape, sustainability initiatives often compete with many other business priorities. How can we ensure sustainability is seen not as a cost, but as a strategic investment that creates measurable business value?
When we asked for your input on future themes for the network, engagement with boards and management emerged as the one of the top priorities.
This session is therefore designed to be interactive, providing a space to exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and learn from others the ways the lead to effective engagement from the leadership.
Together with our guest speaker Elin Ljung, Operating Partner, Head of Sustainability & Communications at Nordic Capital, we will explore practical insights and perspectives to help bridge the gap between sustainability ambitions and business decision-making.
We will also discuss different ways to aid communication within the team - through e.g. quantified financial benefits from sustainability projects, peer case studies, stakeholder trend mapping and long-term value creation.
Join us for our next Sustainable Finance Network session on 9 September at 8.30-10.00, where we'll explore how to strengthen the business case for sustainability ahead of budget discussions and annual planning.
When: 9 September, at 8.30-10.00 am (breakfast served at 8.30, session starts at 8.45)
Where: Ethos office, Kommendörsgatan 30, Stockholm
