Dimitry Elias Léger, finance journalist, marketing specialist, and a longtime advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, joined Ethos this month and will lead the new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practice in combination with our Human Rights practice. Dimitry, 50, will be based in Stockholm, a city he has been visiting regularly with his family over the past 20 years.

His sustainable social policy knowledge is unique and will benefit Ethos and our clients.”
Dimitry joined Ethos from Vanguard, the Pennsylvania-based asset management firm, where he was a senior marketing manager and a member of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. Prior to that, he was a senior communications advisor at United Nations agencies in Geneva and the field, including the U.N. Global Compact, the International Telecommunication Union, the International Labour Organization, and the U.N.´s taskforce for addressing racism and promoting dignity for all, where he helped launch the organization´s first DEI Action Plan.

Dimitry studied corporate citizenship strategy at Harvard Business School and public administration at Harvard´s Kennedy School of Government. He is also an accomplished writer. His novel God Loves Haiti has been published in English and in French to critical acclaim.
